Loco's Grill & Pub:

Seth Dozier, owner and operator of Loco’s Bar & Grill in Tifton, GA., has cut his energy usage in lighting by 88%. The dining and bar area of his restaurant was 100% incandescent lighting, utilizing 7,025 watts. He has replaced all incandescent bulbs with our compact fluorescent lamps. The total wattage of the 144 CFL lamps is only 806 watts. The reduction in heat that was generated by the 144 incandescent bulbs will also greatly reduce his air conditioning cost. According to various articles reported in the media, 20% of the energy savings in a home or business can be accomplished with lighting. We estimated that Loco’s lighting cost would be reduced by at least $250 to $300 per month, before factoring in the air conditioning savings.
