Open Spirals
This is the most commonly used Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CFL). The light coils are not enclosed in a decorative cover, so they have the appearance of a spiral. Ours are long-lasting (approx. 10,000 hours) and energy saving. They use ¼ to 1/5 the energy of an incandescent light bulb to provide the same amount of light. They are available from 2 to 200 watts, but provide the equivalent lighting of 15 to 300 watt incandescent light bulbs.
A-Lamps
These lamps are for decorative applications. They are shaped like a regular incandescent light bulb, but have the same energy saving features as the open spirals. Because the spiral is encased in glass, they are not recommended for use in enclosed fixtures. They are available from 4 to 19 watts, but provide the equivalent light of 25 to 75 watt incandescent light bulbs.
Globes
These lamps are for decorative applications. They are shaped like round globes, but have the same energy saving features as the open spirals. Because the spiral is encased in glass, they are not recommended for use in enclosed fixtures. They are available from 2 to 19 watts, but provide the light equivalent to 10 to 75 watt incandescent light bulbs. They range in size from 1.5” up to a 5” diameter. The most commonly used is 3.1” in diameter. It replaces incandescent vanity lights perfectly, giving the same style, except with better light and less heat!
Flood Lights
Our Flood Lamps look like regular incandescent floods, but only use a fraction of the wattage – from only 4 watts up to 23 watts, providing the equivalent light of 15 to 120 watt incandescent flood lights. Use them to replace your existing flood lights, one for one. They are available in both smooth and textured surfaces, and in Par 20, Par 30, Par 38 & Par 40 sizes. We now have them in dimmables! The dimmable floods are available in Par 30 & Par 40 sizes, and in either our natural daylight white or in “warm & cozy” yellow.
Linear
Our Fluorescent Linear Lamps are full spectrum, natural daylight equivalent. They are long lasting, rated for 30,000 to 40,000 hours, unlike the standard 3,000-hour lamps. They retain at least 90% lumen maintenance over their rated life, and are low mercury & TCLP compliant. We stock T-5, T-8 & T-12 sizes in all standard lengths.
